The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday (October 21, 2026) released the full schedule for the 2027 U19 Women’s T20 World Cup, co-hosted by Bangladesh and Nepal. A total of 41 matches will be played across four venues located in Sylhet and Chattogram in Bangladesh, alongside Kathmandu in Nepal.
The third edition of the marquee tournament will run from January 21 to February 6, 2027. The opening fixture and all group-stage matches involving host Bangladesh will take place in Sylhet, while both semifinals and the showpiece final will be held in Chattogram.
Action-Packed Opening Day
The tournament kicks off on January 21 with four action-packed fixtures. Host Bangladesh will feature in the tournament opener at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, taking on the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the morning session. Later in the afternoon at the same venue, powerhouse Australia will face Nigeria.
Tournament Format & Knockout Schedule
Group Stage: Scheduled from January 21 to January 26.
Super Six Phase: The top three teams from each group will advance to the Super Six stage, split into two groups, with the top two teams from each group qualifying for the semifinals.
Semifinals: Both crucial semifinals will be held on February 4 at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Cricket Stadium in Chattogram, with February 5 designated as a reserve day.
The Grand Final: The championship decider will be played at the same venue in Chattogram on February 6, with February 7 kept as a reserve day for the final.
