Amid the ongoing 10-day ceasefire in Lebanon, Iran has completely opened the Strait of Hormuz, an important route for global trade. As a result, all commercial ships will be able to pass through this channel.

However, regarding the continuation of the US naval blockade on the channel, President Donald Trump has said, 'The negotiation process should be completed very quickly.'

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made the announcement on his social media account X on Friday.

He said that the Strait of Hormuz is completely open during the ceasefire in Lebanon. All commercial ships will be able to pass through the strait during the 10-day ceasefire in Lebanon.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said, "The Strait of Hormuz is now fully open and ready for business. However, the US naval blockade will remain in place until a final agreement is reached with Iran."

He also said, "Most of the issues in the negotiations have already been agreed upon. As a result, the whole process should be concluded very quickly."

Earlier, one of Iran's demands was for a ceasefire in Lebanon. US President Donald Trump announced a 10-day ceasefire in Lebanon on Thursday night.
