The price of LP gas has been increased at the consumer level. The price of a 12-kg cylinder has been increased by 212 taka from 1,728 taka to 1,940 taka. Along with this, the price of autogas has also increased. The price of autogas at the consumer level has been fixed at 89 taka 50 paisa, which was fixed at 79 taka 77 paisa in early April.


The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the price increase in a notification on Sunday (April 19) afternoon. The new price will be effective from Sunday evening.


Earlier, the last adjustment of LPG prices at the consumer level for the current month was on April 2. On that day, the price of a 12 kg cylinder was fixed at 1,728. That is, the price of a 12 kg cylinder of LPG increased by 212 taka in one jump.


It is worth noting that the prices of all types of fuel oil in the country were increased last night. Without cutting the rope, the price of LP gas has increased at the consumer level. The price of a 12 kg cylinder has been increased by 212 taka to 1,940 taka.
